This qualification is designed to help learners build the skills and gain knowledge needed to work in a senior role with adults in health and social care environments. Supporting adults in health and social care environments, covering health care procedures, supporting individuals with their emotional and physical care meeting their daily living needs and. It is mandatory for all those undertaking the Level 3 Health and Social Care Apprenticeship.
It has three pathways:
You should be at least 16 years old and for those who wish to work or who are working with adults in health and social care.

Learners must achieve a total of 58 credits.
|How is it assessed
Using a range of methods your tutor or assessor will support you e.g. direct observation in the workplace, a portfolio of evidence, written assignments or a task set by CACHE, work products etc.
|Do you need to be working to take the qualification
Yes, you will need to be working, volunteering or on practical placement as you need to show competence in both knowledge and skills.
|How long does it take to complete
One year or less, depending on your individual needs.
